1. Frame

The base is made of wood. Solid hardwood and softwood such as beech are used for all load-bearing parts of the construction. Plywood panels are used for non-load-bearing parts. The wooden parts are well rounded and smoothed, so that cuts and chafing are avoided.

2. Seat structure

Nosag springs provide the seat suspension. The steel wave springs are made of hardened spring steel wire and are stretched over the seat of the frame like a mat. When pressure is applied, the springs give way slightly without you sinking in too much.

3. Backrest

High-quality PUR foam with hard fiber strips is used to pad the backrest. The desired properties of the foam are controlled in the manufacturing process of polyether foam. Both weight and degree of hardness are regulated here.

The seat is padded with high-quality cold foam of medium firmness. With irregular pores and excellent point elasticity, this type of foam forms a good framework for a comfortable seating climate. Optionally, the lobby furniture can be equipped with cold foam with a fixed degree of hardness. A flame-retardant basic upholstery is also possible.

6. Fine padding

Upholstery wadding or upholstery fleece form the fine upholstery of the piece of furniture. Made from polyester, the batting is used to cover the individual layers of construction, giving the seat a puffy appearance.

7. Cover

The biggest question when choosing the right cover is: Which fabric? The choice depends on personal preferences and needs. Choose from 600 different fabrics, colors, feels and patterns within our fabric collection or have your own fabrics processed.

8. Feet

The BELLA furniture legs are part of the wooden frame and are therefore made of solid and extremely hard-wearing beech wood. On request, we can also manufacture the legs from oak wood. Choose from our various stain shades and match the wood color to the overall look of your furniture.
