1. Frame
The base frame is made of several different types of wood. Hardwood and softwood represent the supporting elements and cross-connections. Flat components are made of plywood and chipboard. The boards made of wood chips and veneers have a multi-layer structure and are characterized by high strength and stability.
2. Seat structure
Steel wave springs, also known as nosag springs, represent the seat suspension. The surface-finished spring steel wire is attached to the frame and cushions the upholstery.
3. Basic padding
The upholstery of the seat consists of polyether foam. The foam is characterized by a honeycomb structure, which gives the material above-average resilience and dimensional stability. Optionally, the club furniture can be produced with a flame-retardant basic upholstery.
4. Backrest
The backrest consists of high quality polyether foam with hard fiber strips. Polyether foam is dimensionally stable and durable. Therefore, the material is made for the padding of long-lasting, high-quality upholstered furniture. The furniture can optionally be produced with cold foam with a medium degree of hardness or a flame-retardant basic upholstery.
5. Fine padding
Upholstery wadding made of the synthetic fiber polyester represents the fine upholstery. The wadding covers the underlying basic upholstery on the seat and backrest and is the last layer between the cover fabric and the foam. In this way, it prevents the upholstery fabric from chafing and gives the surface a voluminous appearance.
