The chair’s design ensures your guests are embraced in comfort, with the firm upholstery preventing any unwanted sagging or deformations. Elevating the chair are its floor-free feet, which not only introduce an element of lightness to its form but also ensure effortless transitions from sitting to standing. Additionally, BELLOSA’s versatility shines with options to expand into a lounge set, complemented by a paired club sofa and matching stool.

1. Frame

The base consists of a solid substructure composed of different wood materials. Structural components are made of hardwood and softwood. Surface parts are made of plywood and chipboard, which, due to the mixing of chips and binders, have properties of high dimensional stability and resilience.

2. Backrest

A belt suspension is attached to the backrest. The elastic upholstery straps, which are stretched over the backrest frame, ensure pleasant leaning and soft comfort. Upholstery straps are usually installed in round seating elements.

3. Basic padding

High-quality polyether foam is used for the seat upholstery. The PU soft foam has good air permeability, is dimensionally stable and insensitive. Optionally, we manufacture the club furniture with cold foam in a firm or medium-firm degree of hardness. Are you placing the furniture in public areas with strict fire protection regulations? We are happy to equip BELLOSA with a flame-retardant basic upholstery.

4. Back padding

The backrest is covered with soft polyether foam. The dimensionally stable material has a low weight and is permeable to air. The PU foam therefore supports a pleasant seating climate.

5. Fine padding

The individual construction layers are finally covered with a thermally bonded padding fleece mat. The padding wadding is a protective layer for the cover material above it, improves the feel of the fabric and makes the padding look voluminous.

6. Cover

Upholstery fabrics are spoiled for choice: depending on individual needs, you can choose between a wide range of fabrics and imitation leather. The selection of over 600 different colours, patterns and materials offers an unbelievable variety of designs.

7. Feet

Furniture feet in particular, as load-bearing components, require hardness, density and structure. As a component of the base frame, the four BELLOSA legs are made of beech wood as standard. On request, we are happy to manufacture feet from robust oak wood and attach them as legs.
